Program PowerFLIGHT II 2019 powered off to a great start with the first week of hills repetitions workout on a weekday and a steady long run on the weekend.

New as well as returning trainees are looking forward to this 4-16 week program of strength & speed endurance enhancement to whip them up in racing weight and shape for their upcoming races in Sep-Nov.

The first weekday hills workout at the hilly Mt. Faber region had the PowerFLIGHTers working their legs and lungs out for 40minutes of MF Hills Loops.

Taking away tips on running form basics  and hill running techniques were certainly the highlight of the evening for many of the enthusiastic trainees.

They finished the workout in 2 hours, very satisfied of their accomplishment and surviving their first PowerFLIGHT challenge.

The weekend long run comprised of a good 90min or 15km at steady-state / UpTempo pace along the Tanjong Rhu / ECP stretch of runway.  The Kookaburras who were training for the Gold Coast Marathon were also in session for their long run @ Marathon Pace for 180min / 28km.

The PowerFLIGHTers took away some ideas of pace running and progression workouts, which will put them in good stead as they build their running economy and threshold abilities in the coming weeks and months of structured marathon training.

We look forward to week #2 of PowerFLIGHT Program which will see our kickoff sessions of track intervals and long tempo workout, all in the cooler evening temperatures.

After a highly successful and well received Program PowerFLIGHT (Jan-Apr 2019), we are pleased to announce the offering of the follow on of Program PowerFLIGHT II (June-Sep 2019) – our highly popular and effective 16-week structured strength and speed training program to up the ante on your training preparations for your local races and overseas marathons (Gold Coast, Berlin, Chicago, New York, Seoul, Taipei, OSAKA, Kobe Marathon) in 2019.

We have structured and flexible training schedules tailored for the busy road warriors seeking improved run timings, Personal Bests, Boston Qualifiers and weight-conscious fitness enthusiasts trying to hit their weight-loss goals.
